Personification is the attribution of human qualities to non-human entities. In particular, it refers to the use of verbs denoting intention, judgment, thought, intelligence, emotion, and possession to inanimate objects.
Avoid personification in courseware by attributing intention, thought, emotion, or possession only to a human being or by choosing a different verb.
